Evaluating UnityUk

Futurate has been selected to undertake a usability evaluation of the web software that allows UK libraries to exchange resources.

The Unity service began over 10 years ago to enable inter-lending of resources between libraries in the South West, North West, East Midlands, North East and Scotland.

In February 2006, OCLC PICA (UK) was awarded the contract to provide a new and improved unityservice based around their suite of inter-library loans and resource sharing solutions.

Katie Anstock, Business Development Manager at OCLC PICA (UK), says: “We selected Futurate because they have valuable experience in the information space and their comprehensive, sensible and pragmatic approach to our needs is invaluable.”
