The new system also offers secure payment online, digital invoicing and automated order emails. Customers now have the ability to save an order while in progress, login to track an order towards fulfilment and view details of previous orders. As well as receiving order details by email, staff at Peak Imaging can login to view current orders and order history.
Because Peak Imaging’s client base primarily consists of professional photographers, the technical standards are exacting - it was critical that performance and new features bore equivalence to global competitors such as Kodak.
Peak Online is compatible with all major web browsers; the system works identically on both Mac and PC platforms and because no download is required, the security and firewall issues so often associated with this kind of system are completely avoided.
Peak Online allows customers to upload multiple high-resolution images in a range of common formats (e.g. JPEG, TIFF etc.); then easily crop, rotate and re-size each image, optimised in JPEG 2000. Once their images are uploaded customers can then select from a wide range of processing options (including print size, frames and finishing) for each of their images.
